Campers will join the group for a guided cooking lesson, lead by DSG staff. These will focus on simple recipes or snacks that will allow the campers to practice independent skills in the kitchen while following a video model.

 

This week's menu:

 

§  BLT Wrap

·         7 strips thin sliced bacon

·         ¼ cup ranch dressing

·         ¼ cup mayonnaise

·         1 tbsp. yellow mustard

·         3 cups shredded iceberg lettuce

·         1 cup grape tomatoes

·         4 six-inch flour tortillas

§  Fruit Salad

·         1 tbsp honey

·         1 container mandarin orange segments

·         1 cup strawberries

·         ½ cup green grapes

·         1 banana

·         1 cup blueberries

§  Chocolate Cake in a cup

·         ¼ cup flour

·         ¼ cup sugar

·         ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

·         2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

·         ¼ cup vegetable oil

·         ¼ cup milk

·         ¼ tsp. vanilla extract

·         Whipped topping

·         Chocolate syrup
